ABOUT FRIES'n'GRAVY

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!!...
it's chunky, crispy, smooth and fat. it's an indulgence but more importantly, fries'n'gravy is nourishing.

stay for a while. sit down, relax and kick off your shoes, while chefs colin and jay collaborate to prepare your classic canadian highschool favourite with only the finest of international ingredients. take a pound plus of crispy fries done proper, some beef gravy, a touch of salt, toss in a dash of freshly ground pepper, and the secret ingredient - TLC. but that's not all, there's more to this batch of fries'n'gravy than just fries and...well...gravy; throw in 1/2 a cup of cynicism and 3 cups of reduced criticism. sprinkle with brutal honesty and you have yourself a batch french fried goodness served up daily.

served best when fresh. feeds'a'plenty so enjoy with all your friends and family.

fries'n'gravy...culture and criticisms.

no preservatives or additives.

hawaiian punch
i like parties with themes. think about it, it's hard enough to plan a party. you gotta invite everyone to come, convince them to come. then you gotta think about food, space, and clean up. at the end of the day it's all worth it, though (i hope).

...now that's a basic party...

think about the effort behind themed parties. these include hallowe'en parties, kids' bday parties and more recently and personally, hawaiian-themed engagement parties. those are on a whole'nother level. now you gotta put together an outfit to fit the party. it's like a black-tie function without all the snobishness. hawaiian parties are the joints. they're a lot of fun and require another level of participation from guests.

marinate on this for a minute: who likes to go to a party where everyone is uptight? who wants to see people frowning or not enjoying themselves? usually parties are held to mark a good time or something significant. believe it or not, you are obligated to have a good time and if "a good time" calls for dressing up then so be it. that's why i'm telling you all -- if ever invited to a hawaiian-themed anything, go along with it. let loose. dress up. wear your ridiculous shirts, rock your lay, grass skirt, coconuts or whatever you have up your sleeve. get over yourself and be festive. i did and eventhough i had no clue there was a contest involved, i won best-dressed male.

congrats to chris and krissie again on their engagement.
beyond that...congrats on throwing a great party. it was nice to see some old faces from highschool.

now....in terms of me getting engaged, i call shotgun on a futuristic-themed party.
bring your outrageous hair, shades, robotic-cyborgish gloves and voiceboxes.
get ready for that one in few years, fam.
